Bio
Ahmed Salama Mohamed Hamed is the Co-founder and CTO of Zeds, a technology-driven smart mobility platform serving individuals, businesses, and public authorities across Egypt. He leads Zeds’ technology strategy, product, and a 30-person team. His work spans full-stack engineering, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and AI.
Ahmed built and scaled Zeds’ ride-hailing platform to over 59,000 drivers, 82,000+ registered users, and more than 250,000 ride requests. On the corporate side, he scaled Zeds’ transportation operations to serve 15,000+ employees weekly across 8 corporate clients, running 1,100+ trips per day. He also established a strategic public-sector partnership to launch the Smart Taxi digital transformation pilot in Sharm El Sheikh. The pilot brings digital booking, transparent pricing, real-time tracking, and centralized fleet management to the city’s taxi system.
Ahmed is focused on building the digital backbone of mobility in Egypt and is open to connecting with investors, partners, and mobility leaders.
